Eeeekkk!! I can’t believe I am just finally getting around to blogging about Brittany and Bradford’s beautiful engagement session in Raleigh! Incase you missed it, their session has been featured in two different blogs – BeMinked and Beauty & Lifestyle Bride! You can view their features by clicking here: From Wingman/Wingwoman to Happily Ever After or here North Carolina Engagement Session: Brittany & Bradford.
I met Brittany and Bradford through the hubs, Lilo and if you can’t tell in the photos below these two are so fun and full of life – It made my session with them an absolute blast! I love how after we finished our session Bradford said, “Who thought engagement pictures could be so fun?” I am looking forward to their beautiful fall wedding at Berry Hill Resort š
Agh enough about me! Lets get to the real reason why you are here – Brittany and Bradford! So how did these two meet? In January of 2012, these two met through mutual friends who were going out on a date – Bradford was his wingman and Brittany her wingwoman. Although things didn’t quite work out between their friends, these two instantly hit it off and began dating. During the first two weeks of their relationship Bradford attended a coed baby show with Brittany and also helped her pick up her recently neutered dog from the vet with her four year old nice and then took them to lunch – what a gentleman!
On July 4th of last year, Brittany and Bradford went to stay with family at Smith Mountain Lake for the holiday. They decided to go on a walk and once they reached the top of the neighborhood hill, Bradford proposed! They were then able to go back to the family dock and celebrate with all who was in town. Nobody in Brittany’s family had a clue Bradford was planning on proposing except for her Dad – who just two days prior was surprised by Bradford who drove 3 hours to the lake in order to ask for his daughters hand – and Brittany’s younger sister, Taylor, who helped him design the ring.
For their engagement photos the soon-to-be Pomeroy’s wanted to have their photos taken at the WRAL Azalea Gardens and downtown Raleigh. Here are a few of my favorite images from their session:
Foundation – where it all began!
Brittany and Bradford love traveling, getting together with friends, grilling out and entertaining. They have nothing in common – Brittany is a type A organizing and planning type personality and Bradford is much more laid back and go with the flow. They are still learning how to balance the two, but love the journey because it is making it that much more exciting.
Bradford loves Brittany’s passion, integrity and honesty. He says she has a real gift for treating everyone she meets with an amazing amount of openness and kindness. Brittany loves how Bradford is genuine to everyone he meets – he is kind, thoughtful, always trying to be the best for them as a couple. He makes her laugh every single day and he really cares about her family.
Thank you Brittany & Bradford for allowing me into your lives and sharing your amazing story! I can’t wait for your wedding this September š
