baby beluga in the deep blue sea.. won’t you come and play with me.. baby beluggaaaahhhh??? thats how the song goes right? I keep trying to look up the lyrics to baby beluga and I DON’T RECOGNIZE THEM! why does this line seem to be the only one I can remember? Agh feels like my childhood was so long ago. Anyways if that is not the lyrics to the song so be it.. on to the reason for this post!
Why might you ask am I singing this apparently made up version of baby beluga?? it is because I did my first maternity session EVER this year!! hip hip horray!! love getting to try new things and meet new people 🙂 I had the wonderful opportunity to meet the Hunter family and photograph Jennifer’s cute little baby bump! She is 7 months pregnant and the baby is going to be a surprise (hence the reason why there are two different set of baby shoes in the photos below). Not only was this my first maternity session but it was also the first time I got to do a shoot in the snow! The weather in North Carolina this winter has been ALL OVER the place. One minute it is 64 degrees and the next it is SNOWING! The week leading up to the shoot, I checked the weather and saw there was a chance of snow for the Saturday we had scheduled to meet. I was a little bummed because I figured it would end up raining all day and there would be no snow and now shoot. Lucky for all of us, it was pouring snow and not rain! Jennifer & Stephen both decided to brave the cold and give the snow shoot a try and I am so glad they did. The beautiful Eno park and snowfall ended up making the perfect setting. Thanks Jennifer & Stephen for enduring the cold and wet weather for these photos!!
I want to give special shout out and thanks to Jessica, Jennifer’s sister, who I played basketball with at Mount Olive. I helped Jessica out with her model comp card back in November. You can see the photos I did for her here <<. She was able to make the connection between Jennifer, Stephen and I 🙂 Thanks Jess!!
I hope you guys enjoy these photos as much as I do! To date I think this is one of the most successful shoots I have ever had!
Please note that the My Dulcet logo was the original name of my photography business before I launched into Brittany Pelegrino Photography.
too cute! more to come soon I did my first glamour shoot shortly after this session and I am still working on the edits 🙂 so be on the lookout for more posts coming your way!
